The Foundational Phase and the Technical-Engineering Approach
The firm was founded in 1992 by Eng. William Flamigni, a chemical engineer who graduated from the University of Bologna.
The founder's professional background was built initially through teaching at the Technical Institute of Forlì and, subsequently, within the ENI Group — then one of the most prominent chemical groups in the world — at the ANIC plant in Ravenna. At EniChem Elastomeri, Eng. Flamigni worked for 25 years, gaining deep expertise in the management of elastomer production processes. At the age of 55, he left the industrial group to start his independent professional practice. In parallel with the firm's activities, he held prominent institutional roles within the Order of Engineers, serving as both President and Vice President.

In this initial phase, the business had a purely technical-executive and regulatory focus. The firm was among the very first in the local professional landscape to consult on obtaining the initial environmental authorizations, structuring pioneering activities focused on:
- Environment and Safety: Management of atmospheric emission permits (under Presidential Decree 203/88) and occupational safety compliance associated with the entry into force of Italian Law 626/94.
- Plant Design: Calculation, sizing, and design of industrial ventilation systems.
- Expert Reports & Appraisals: Preparation of technical appraisals for access to funding, and roles as Court-Appointed Expert (CTU) and Party-Appointed Expert (CTP) in legal matters.
The Paradigm Shift and Transition to Consulting
After a period of inactivity of the original organization, the firm resumed operations in 2024 under the leadership of Eng. Enrico Flamigni, introducing a radical change in the business model.
Operationally, the relaunch coincided with the reopening of the firm's historical offices. Simultaneously, the professional network that characterized the previous management was reactivated, now expanded and integrated with new strategic partnerships necessary to face the increased complexity of industrial and technological challenges.
The takeover by Eng. Enrico Flamigni occurred after a 27-year career in the metallurgical industry, with roles in plant direction and operations management. This experience shaped the permanent transition of the firm from pure technical design to management and economic-strategic consulting.
